Hi! I’m Jen. I know what you are thinking – how the heck do you pronounce Swedhin? Broken down it looks like this: Swah-deen. If you added an ‘ie’ to the end it would rhyme perfectly with weenie. It’s a tough one, but it’s better than my 13-letter 4-syllable German maiden name!
I strongly believe it is important to get to know, and really like your photographer. So here is a bit about me:
I’m a biologist by training – I earned my Bachelor’s in Bio Sciences from CMU a few years ago.
I have three tiny kids – Anika, Tucker and Cadence. They are full of life and craziness, and definitely keep my life interesting.
I love green beans.
I hate most other green vegetables.
I got married in 2006 to Brian, a skinny goofy smart funny guy. He is supportive of my madness, but keeps me firmly planted in reality. Most of the time.
I dream of one day shooting for National Geographic.
I am a totally self-taught photographer.
I still cry at almost every wedding I go to.
I have three big slobbering wiggle-butt boxers.
I think humor is a universal language, and I happen to speak fluently.
My heart is in the jungle, and I have a love for all wildlife. Except eels. Eels are gross.
