There is so much that goes into planning a wedding – every detail and every moment is important. My job at your wedding is to tell the story of your day, so I focus on the little things. The handmade programs. The first embrace as newlyweds. The excitement between a bride and her bridesmaids and she puts the finishing touches on her makeup. The beauty that is a couple madly in love.
Because I strive to tell a story, my base package includes 8 full hours of wedding day coverage. I have found that 8 hours seems to be the perfect amount to cover preparation, first looks, formals, the ceremony, family portraits, and most of the reception. You can add more hours if you are needing more coverage, and if you are having a very non-traditional wedding, destination wedding, vow renewal or elopement, please email me and we can discuss options for you.
I recommend getting an engagement session done before your wedding. This is an excellent way to get to know your photographer, and to let your photographer get to know you. It is much easier to capture your personalities if I know you better – inside jokes, the way you interact with each other. All engagement sessions are done at the location of your choice several months before your wedding date.
Your wedding photography is a very personal and important choice. After all, photos are the only thing you get to take away besides your marriage! You should feel completely at ease with your photographer, so a consultation before hand is a good idea. Let’s get to know each other! Ask me whatever you want – I am an open book.
